Injury

If you are contemplating surgery for a chronic pain, or have not seen relief with physical therapy we would love to speak with you. We have had tremendous success with individuals who thought they had no options left but surgery. In your discovery session we will quickly be able to determine if we can help you or not. We can't help everyone but we have helped many residents avoid or postpone costly surgeries and unnecessary therapies. Sometimes chronic pain and dysfunction is simply a result of restricted joint mobility, ischemic tissue, muscle adhesions, and a dysfunctional neural recruitment pattern surrounding the affected joint. If you meet any of the above conditions, our condition specific protocols may help you feel good again.

Corrective

Occupational habits and patterns coupled with repetitive life tasks or methods of doing work result in movement dysfunction over time. When proper movement breaks down and a dysfunctional pattern arrises often the result is some sort of pain or obvious inability to operate at optimum levels. As we age we lose our ability to move without restriction and we lose proprioception which allows us to know where our body is in space relative to our environment. This often results in catastrophic falls, loss of balance, joint dysfunction, and chronic pain. Our assessment process is thorough so we both know exactly where you are starting from and how long it will take to reach your goal. Each member begins with a free posture screen to test for postural abnormalities and a free body composition screen so you know your vital stats before you begin like height, weight, body fat percentage, body water, lean mass, skeletal mass, fat mass and more. We then re assess every 30-90 days so that you can see exactly where your stats have changed. You will never be left in the dark and you will always be able to track your progress with our free follow up assessments.

Using our movement screening technology we are able to isolate deficiencies and work corrective elements into your programs so that you not only see results but also do it in a way that promotes the longevity of your body.

Energy System Development

All Synergy members will receive a complimentary heart rate training program and instructions on how to use heart rate monitoring devices to ensure you are exercising at the optimum heart rate levels for your age, gender and activity level. You will receive free 12 week programs that lay out your base training days with your interval training days. knowing these numbers will make every second you spend outside our facility exercising much more fruitful and congruent with your long term fitness goals.

All Synergy members receive complimentary 30 day meal plans that are customized for their specific caloric requirements and food choices. We have high protein, vegetarian and lactose intolerant plans for our members so you get the right calories in the right macro nutrient ratios for optimum results while working with us.

Our approach to fitness is integrated. We exercise in all 3 planes of motion, (transverse, frontal, sagittal). We use eccentric, concentric and isometric exercises. We target slow twitch and fast twitch muscle fibers and we use functional multi-joint, propreoceptive and plyometric progressions to ensure that not only do you experience optimum muscular development and fat loss, but you reach optimum levels of CNS and motor function as well. Synergy means “all things working together to create a whole greater than the sum of its parts?. We live by this definition and you can expect every session to reflect our credo.

We use 4 phases of functional development in our class and session design so you always see results. The phases are stability, strength, power and work capacity. Stability ensures that you are stable and your frame is able to stand up to the movements that are used in all our classes. Strength means that you have tissue development adequate to move your body and weights through the motions needed to reach optimum levels of kinesthetic function. Power means that you have fast twitch muscle fiber development and that you are able to recruit those muscles when needed to develop your body further. Work Capacity means that you have muscle endurance and that you are metabolically able to handle your bodies new developments in a functional usable manner. When all these factors are working in synergy your body will reflect that in the form of a lean, toned athletic appearance that you can’t help but love!
